Restoring Nature in Scotland infographic and report

I designed and illustrated this pair of documents – an infographic and summary report – to summarise the key impacts of the Nature Restoration Fund, a Scottish Government initiative that provides funding for projects aimed at restoring and protecting Scotland's biodiversity.

The infographic shows the main facts and figures of what the fund achieved on a single page, accompanied by illustrations of the nature and wildlife impacted by the funding.

The accompanying eight page PDF report goes into a bit more detail with longer pages of text accompanied by photographs and my illustrations, as well as detailing 12 key outcomes, illustrated with icons.

Accessibility was an important consideration in the design of both of these documents, following strict guidelines on typography, colour and contrast, layout, image descriptions and accessibility by screen reader software.
